A lovely 1916-dated DWM Luger P08 pistol, chambered in 9mm and featuring the classic 4-inch barrel, presented in excellent overall condition.

This desirable First World War example retains approximately 95% of its original blued finish, giving the pistol a particularly attractive appearance while retaining its authentic wartime character. The knoxform is engraved “1916”, with the famous DWM monogram prominently displayed on the toggle.

Of particular interest to collectors, the pistol displays matching numbers throughout with the exception of the magazine. The supplied magazine is itself a period example, fitted with a wooden base stamped “1782”.

The pistol retains its traditional chequered wooden grip panels, completing the classic appearance of this Imperial German military sidearm.

A very attractive and well-preserved WW1-dated DWM P08, combining extensive matching numbers, approximately 95% original blueing and a period wooden-base magazine.
