A stunning and rare example of a Charge Loading Lee Enfield (CLLE) rifle, originally manufactured in 1899 as a Mk I, upgraded to Mk I* and later converted to CLLE specification in 1909.
This rifle is in beautiful original condition, with butt markings to the 8th Highland Light Infantry, adding historical significance and collectibility.
It features an original Enfield barrel, gauging at 0.30300 with strong rifling, ideal for both the shooter and serious collector. The rifle retains numerous Enfield inspection stamps and Birmingham nitro proof marks, confirming its authenticity and service history.
