SKU: F276
This rare ERMA-WERKE M1 Carbine chambered in the powerful .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (WMR) is a fantastic example of one of the most desirable small-bore semi-automatic rifles ever produced. Originally designed as a military training rifle, the ERMA M1 quickly gained popularity among civilian shooters for its combination of historical styling, superb handling, and excellent performance.
Chambered in the larger .22 WMR cartridge, this is the most powerful semi-automatic rifle permitted under UK law, delivering impressive performance with the added benefit of inexpensive running costs compared to centrefire rifles. The previous owner reports consistent accuracy on ETR ranges at distances up to 300 yards.
This rifle is extremely well-equipped, coming with:
-
Both pre- and post-1944 barrel bands (the latter featuring the correct bayonet lug)
-
Original sling and oil bottle
-
Rare clamp-on M2 muzzle brake
-
Copy folding Para Carbine stock (in addition to the fitted stock)
-
Two 12-round magazines
The rifle has been test-fired by us and proven to be both accurate and great fun to shoot. Mechanically sound and cosmetically in very good condition for its age, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find an example with such a comprehensive set of accessories.
Variation required for either .22 / .22 RF / .22 WMR.
A true collector’s piece that also offers genuine shooting enjoyment.
