This rifle features matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, and barrel, along with a fitted magazine cut-off, reflecting the classic pre-WWI specification.

Marked with the Union of South Africa stamp, along with numerous original inspection and proof marks, this rifle boasts historical provenance and a rich service life. It wears a lovely, honest patina throughout. The barrel gauges at 0.30425 – showing light wear consistent with age but still well within the permissible service limit of 0.31000.
